After being announced in September last year, Microsoft has confirmed the acquisition of ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda, has been made official.

A blog post on the Xbox website from Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox, confirmed the deal has been completed, after receiving approval from the EU earlier this week without conditions.

“Now that everything is official, we can begin working together to deliver more great games to everyone,” the post reads.
