Despite the makeshift lineup, G2 managed a respectable top four finish after falling to eventual champions <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cs-go\/evil-geniuses-enter-cs-go-acquire-nrg-roster\">Evil Geniuses<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/antoniomeic\/status\/1170063553606369280\">accusations of &#8216;poaching&#8217; from the CR4ZY CEO<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vpesports.com\/csgo\/nexa-hunter-to-sign-with-g2-report\">reports of huNter- and nexa<\/a> joining G2 had been circulating for some time, the news was made official ahead of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cs-go\/dreamhack-masters-malmo-viewer-s-guide\">DreamHack Masters Malm&ouml;<\/a> this week where G2 will join fifteen other teams fighting for &#36;250,000. FURIA will be their first opponent, having recently made a roster change themselves despite the lineup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cs-go\/furia-csgo-contract-scrutiny\">signing five year contracts earlier this year<\/a> following a bout of success at an international level.<\/p>\n<p>This marks the first return to an international roster for G2 since 2016, when their European mix team containing Mikail &#8220;Maikelele&#8221; Bill, Ricardo &#8220;fox&#8221; Pacheco, H&aring;vard &#8220;rain&#8221; Nygaard, Joakim &#8220;jkaem&#8221; Myrbostad and Philip &#8220;aizy&#8221; Aistrup were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.g2esports.com\/g2-csgo-team-acquired-by-faze\/\">transferred and became the first FaZe Clan CS:GO team<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Another change for the team as a result will be the internal switch from French to English for communication. While Fran&ccedil;ois &#8220;AmaNEk&#8221; Delaunay <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hltv.org\/news\/20245\/misfits-add-amanek-devoduvek\">spent time in North America playing for Misfits<\/a> and gives frequent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rushbmedia.com\/reads\/amanek-we-think-we-can-beat-everyone-and-we-think-we-can-win-the-major\">interviews in English<\/a>, Audric &#8220;JaCkz&#8221; Jug has spent his entire career in French-speaking teams and has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faceit.com\/en\/hub\/74caad23-077b-4ef3-8b1d-c6a2254dfa75\/FPL%20CSGO%20Europe\/leaderboard\/general\">fewer than 100 FACEIT Pro League games under his belt<\/a> where English communication is expected.
