season of the North American league has come to an end, opening the door for the next stage.<\/p>\n<p>As announced a few months ago with the rebranding of the league, this time a new champion will not be crowned during the Spring, but a new competition will be held to define the best team in the LCS so far, and who will be the representative of the region at MSI 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what you need to know about the LCS 2021 Mid-Season Showdown, from how to watch all the action, to the teams competing, the format and the schedule.<\/p>\n<h2>LCS 2021 Mid-Season Showdown &#8211; Qualified Teams<\/h2>\n<p>The LCS 2021 Mid-Season Showdown will be the new competition that will define the team that will represent NA during the Mid-Season Invitational, where the top six teams from the format<\/h2>\n<p>The LCS 2021 Mid-Season Showdown format will be somewhat different from previous years, as it faces fewer teams in a double-elimination bracket.<\/p>\n<p>While the best four teams of the regular phase will face each other through the winner&#8217;s bracket, the fifth and sixth seeds will do the same from the losers bracket, fighting for their survival from the first moment against those who fall from the winner&#8217;s bracket.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" games in this stage will be the best of five, while these will be divided around three weeks of competition until the 2021 Mid-Season Showdown champion is defined.<\/p>\n<h2>LCS 2021 Mid-Season Showdown prize pool<\/h2>\n<p>The prize pool for the best teams of the LCS 2021 Mid-Season Showdown will be divided as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Champion: &#36;100,000 USD<\/li>\n<li>2nd Place:
