The Outriders demo is already showing big potential for this game to become the next big looter-shooter hit.<\/p>\n

Fans of looter-shooter games haven’t had this much fun since Borderlands 2, and it seems that Outriders might fill that hole in the co-operative looter-shooter market, while on the MMO side of things, games like Warframe, Destiny 2, and The Division 2 are still great choices.<\/p>\n

What we really love with Outriders is the beautiful world of the game, filled with many great visuals and beautifully designed weapons.<\/p>\n

As with any good looter-shooter game, the loot, it’s quality and general design are the key component for players to really get into the game and judging from what we’ve seen in the demo, it seems that developers have really done a fantastic job in that regard.<\/p>\n

Of course, there is still many balancing to be done, both in terms of stats and in terms of drop rates, but the overall design is done properly.<\/p>\n

Outriders items rarity, levels, mods<\/h3>\n

In Outriders, the equipment is dropped from enemies, found in chests, given as quest rewards, or purchased from vendors.<\/p>\n

Outriders gear has 5 types of rarity: common, unusual, rare, epic, and legendary. In addition to rarity, each piece of gear has its own level.<\/p>\n

Gear above the unusual tier has some additional bonuses which provide to the player when equipped, which can be both defensive(Health, Armour) and offensive(Critical Damage, Armour Penetration).<\/p>\n

Items that are rare or above have Mods, which are passive skills that give special perks to weapons and armour, and can even change how your skills work.<\/p>\n

There are three tiers of mods, they can be used in crafting to customize your gear. The higher the rarity of the item, the better the mods are. Items can be disassembled and then mods from it can be added to other equipment. <\/p>\n

Weapon mods are mostly usable by all classes, but armour mods are class-specific.<\/p>\n

But when it comes to legendary weapons, they have special mods unique only to those weapons, which can’t be found anywhere else.<\/p>\n

Outriders legendary weapons farming: Where to get<\/h3>\n

There are no ultimate solutions for where to find legendary weapons in Outriders, as this is a loot-based game and your only way to get legendary weapons is by chance.<\/p>\n

Before the demo update from early March, people were farming legendary drops from chests, but that doesn’t work any more, as chests will no longer reward you with legendary gear.<\/p>\n

One thing we definitely advise you is to set the game’s World Tier to higher tiers whenever they become available (when you unlock them), because the loot rarity modifier changes with each tier, meaning you will have higher chances to get high-quality loot.<\/p>\n

According to some players’ experience, the stronger enemies now have a higher chance to drop legendary items as well, not just bosses, so keep an eye on that.<\/p>\n

There are also some side quests, like the Payback quest, where you have a chance to get a legendary weapon, so if you don’t mind repeating it over and over until you get lucky, that’s something you should consider as an option.<\/p>\n

YouTuber KhrazeGaming<\/a> says that the main story mission “Meet with Jakub and Shira” is also a good place to farm legendaries, another option that might be even better than the Payload quest.<\/p>\n

Finally, Khraze points out the Terra Infirma side mission is still a good spot for the farming of legendary items, as the Captain is an easy target to kill and you can do it on repeat until you get an item you want.<\/p>\n
