The wait is over, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is here, bringing with it huge map changes, several new weapons, awesome new skins, and much more.<\/p>\n

The new season has brought 15 new, craftable weapons<\/a>, several significant map changes and new POIs<\/a>, and probably our favourite novelty: you can now tame animals!<\/a><\/p>\n

Amongst new weapons, there is also a new Mythic Primal Shotgun, which you can earn simply by defeating the Spire Assassin, a new boss on The Island, which is a part of new seasonal challenges.<\/p>\n

Here’s the best way to defeat him and put your hands on this shiny new weapon!<\/p>\n

Fortnite Season 6: How to defeat the Spire Assassin<\/h3>\n

In order to obtain the new Mythic Primal Shotgun, you will have to take down the Spire Assassin.<\/p>\n

And naturally, in order to do that, you will first need to locate them.<\/p>\n

As the name suggests, they can be found near The Spire POI, a new central location on The Island, which is located right in the centre of the map.<\/p>\n

Once you arrive you will need to climb all the way up and wait for the Spire Assassin to spawn.<\/p>\n

Their strongest attack is stealth-based, and you should avoid them easily by simply keeping your distance and constantly moving backwards.<\/p>\n

Use every opportunity to damage them and repeat until you beat them.<\/p>\n

Once they are defeated, they will drop what you came for: Mythic Primal Shotgun known as Spire Assassin’s Primal Shotgun.<\/p>\n

Spire Assassin’s Primal Shotgun applies 40 to 70 damage per attack, and it is excellent at close range. It fires two bullets per shot, and it has a relatively fast rate of fire.<\/p>\n

While you are killing your enemies with your powerful new weapon, you want to do that with style, and Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass<\/a> packs a lot of fancy new cosmetics for that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
