Like every two weeks, Riot has released all the info about the new update that will 17th March, patch v11.6.<\/p>\n

While many leagues are now on their way to the Playoffs, this patch will bring little changes in terms of champions, but radical ones for some items, as well as new content based on the Battle Academia theme<\/a>.<\/p>\n

League of Legends Patch 11.6: Champion changes<\/h3>\n

During the most recent patches, one of the approaches that the Riot team has taken involves balancing the power of the jungle by nerfing some of its champions and changing the value and difficulty of the camps in the first levels.<\/p>\n

This time around, the changes to Hecarim and Karthus’s Q base damage, Lillia and Renekton receiving nerfs to their ultimate abilities, as well as decreasing the effectiveness of Urgot’s W, and the bonus damage attack from the Gnar’s W.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, some mid laners who have not seen much activity in recent days will get buffs again, with Akali receiving changes to all of her abilities, and LeBlanc and Sylas having more power in their W. Some other champions such as Xin Zhao, Pyke and Volibear will receive adjustments to make them more effective in teamfights.<\/p>\n

The most drastic change will come from the side of the Healing items, because the amount of systemic healing, or healing from runes and items, is still trending high, so in this patch, Riot will shift some of the power from burst healing into other areas.<\/p>\n

Items like the Immortal Shieldbow and Blade of the Ruined King will have a decreased life steal percentage, while the former will give more shield, and the latter will have more siphon damage. Additionally, Sterak’s Gage will receive an adjustment to its passive healing.<\/p>\n

Some other AP items like Liandry’s Anguish, Luden’s Tempest, Seeker’s Armguard, Verdant Barrier, and Stridebreaker, will undergo some adjustments to their stats and passives. In turn, the Rabadon’s Deathcap, Ironspike Whip and Void Staff will have changes in their gold cost.<\/p>\n
