Magic: The Gathering Arena has been released in September of 2018 and was steadily growing in popularity over the past two and a half years. While there are no exact numbers, at this point MTG Arena is probably the second most popular digital card game, right behind Hearthstone.<\/p>\n

And now, you will be able to play MTG Arena anywhere you want! That’s because the game is being officially released for mobile devices, after almost two months of beta testing.<\/p>\n

Is MTG Arena on mobile the same as the PC version? <\/h3>\n

While there are changes made so that the game can be played on smaller screens and with touch-screen controls, it is essentially exactly the same game as the PC version.<\/p>\n

The same content released on PC will be available on mobile devices, the gameplay mechanics are exactly the same, and all modes of playing will be available across all platforms.<\/p>\n

Yes, you will be able to play against anyone, no matter the platform you are on (or your opponent).<\/p>\n

In fact, cross-platform is the default and only way of playing the game, you won’t be able to exclude platforms.<\/p>\n

Do you need another account to play MTG Arena Mobile?<\/h3>\n

You don’t need a separate account, you will be able to login to MTG Arena Mobile with the same account you are using to play MTG Arena on your PC. This means that all cards from your collection are available to you no matter the platform you are playing on. Wherever you are, your collection is going with you.<\/p>\n
