In the name of immersion, the controller will provide players with a &#8216;broader range of feedback&#8217; and giving different experiences depending on the in-game scenario rather than generic vibrations including differences in feeling between moving on grass or mud.<\/p>\n<p>The other innovation emphasised in the blog post are adaptive triggers. With the option available to give different resistances, the feeling of drawing a bow and arrow or making a car accelerate won&#8217;t just be a matter of pushing the button straight down. Some developers have already received early forms of this controller, meaning launch titles could well see the technology used next year.<\/p>\n<p>No other details were given about the PlayStation 5 console beyond the release date and controller in the blog post, but the Wired piece goes into further detail about the goals for the PS5.
