Anyone who already owns the PS4 version will get this upgraded edition for free, though as Push Square’s Liam Croft clarified in the comments, it downloads as a full separate game rather than a simple patch. Mafia 2 and Mafia 3, meanwhile, carry over as the same PS4 Definitive Editions already out there, with no performance or visual changes.

What’s In The Box

Mafia: Definitive Edition (PS5, 60fps)

Mafia 2: Definitive Edition (PS4)

Mafia 3: Definitive Edition (PS4)

Mafia: The Old Country (PS5)

Mafia: The Old Country – Man of Honor (PS5)

According to Gematsu, the collection is also heading to Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, with the same free current-gen upgrade path extending to existing Xbox One owners of Mafia: Definitive Edition. GamingBolt notes the Man of Honor expansion adds two new story chapters following Enzo alongside Don Ennio Salieri, plus fresh Free Ride missions and mission types.

Pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, but with everything dropping tomorrow, fans won’t be waiting long to find out. For anyone deep in crime-game season, this sits nicely alongside the growing hype around GTA 6’s extended look as another major underworld epic gearing up for release.

The Mafia: The Omertà Collection bundles the trilogy, The Old Country and Man of Honor, with a free
