According to Vida Extra, a dedicated Gameplay and Features segment was scheduled from 13:45 to 14:30, followed by a German-language repeat at 17:30. Rather than a single polished sizzle reel, CD Projekt shared several short gameplay snippets with an in-game HUD.<\/p>\n<h2>What the Clips Showed<\/h2>\n<p>The footage included Geralt riding to a mansion in daylight, a moonlit sequence in which he talks with a character named Lilla, and a scene inside the mansion where he speaks with figures connected to Jaskier. Combat footage also showed a fight against a plant-like monster that attacks from range with purple poison, as well as clips of Geralt battling a humanoid creature called Swarmion using a silver chain.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/the-witcher-3-songs-of-the-past-gameplay-inline.webp\" alt=\"Geralt on horseback facing monsters and villagers in a village from The Witcher 3 Songs of the Past gameplay\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Gameplay showcase of the Songs of the Past expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Earlier reporting from <a href=\"https:\/\/gamingbolt.com\/the-witcher-3s-songs-of-the-past-gameplay-showcased-during-cd-projekts-gamescom-stream\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GamingBolt<\/a> said that roughly 13 minutes of gameplay were shown during the stream. GamingBolt described the footage as following Geralt through a quest it called <em>A Bed of Throns<\/em> in the new region of Letten.<\/p>\n<h2>What&#8217;s Next<\/h2>\n<p>The free <em>The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt \u2013 Remastered<\/em> update, which includes the <em>Blood and Wine<\/em> and <em>Hearts of Stone<\/em> expansions, is due on September 29, according to <a
