The English actress is best known for playing Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, while her film credits include Terminator Genisys and Solo: A Star Wars Story.<\/p>\n<p>Variety says&nbsp;her <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2021\/tv\/news\/emilia-clarke-secret-invasion-marvel-1234955746\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Secret Invasion role is being kept under wraps<\/a>, but would see Clarke acting opposite Ben Mendelsohn&rsquo;s Talos (from Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Samuel L. Jackson&rsquo;s Nick Fury (from everything).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Which isn&rsquo;t surprising as the comic book storyline revolved around a Skrull invasion of earth, the aliens using their shape-shifting skills to take the form of humans and superheroes alike. That plot ran throughout 2008 and was the brainchild of writer Brian Michael Bendis.<\/p>\n<p>Kingsley Ben-Adir &ndash; who received acclaim for his portrayal of Malcolm X in the recently released One Night in Miami &ndash; will play the show&rsquo;s villain, while Oscar-winner Olivia Colman has also been cast.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/tv\/kindness-makes-a-comeback-in-new-ted-lasso-trailer\">&ldquo;Kindness makes a comeback&rdquo; in New Ted Lasso trailer<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mr. Robot&rsquo;s Kyle Bradstreet is both writing and producing, though there&rsquo;s no word yet on a release date. Though it won&rsquo;t be the next Marvel show hitting the streaming service as before then we&rsquo;ve got Loki (June 2021), What If&hellip;?
