Warzone Season 3 is finally here, and it brings a huge amount of new content.<\/p>\n

The battle royale has received 3 new weapons, including the PPSh-41 SMG<\/a> and the Swiss K31 sniper rifle,<\/a> a brand new Verdansk map set in the 1980s<\/a>, the Season 3 battle pass<\/a>, and a whole lot of improvements and balance changes.<\/p>\n

What’s particularly interesting is that this update comes with a lot of balance changes, as it seems that Raven Software is now willing to experiment more with the balance and introduce changes where they are needed.<\/p>\n

When it comes to tactical rifles, the M16 and Cold War’s AUG have both received nerfs. Raven explains that these rifles “were able to reach rates of fire that allowed the wielder to negate a requisite identity pillar of burst rifles—accuracy” and that’s why they have increased intervals between bursts and lowered neck damage multipliers.<\/p>\n
