{"id":15978,"date":"2021-05-04T15:13:16","date_gmt":"2021-05-04T15:13:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/apex-legends-arenas-legends-tier-list-every-character-ranked-from-best-to-worst"},"modified":"2024-07-20T22:20:40","modified_gmt":"2024-07-20T22:20:40","slug":"apex-legends-arenas-legends-tier-list-every-character-ranked-from-best-to-worst","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/apex-legends\/apex-legends-arenas-legends-tier-list-every-character-ranked-from-best-to-worst","title":{"rendered":"Apex Legends Arenas Legend tier list &#8211; every character ranked from best to worst"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apex Legends Arenas has arrived and the meta it brings is completely different from the one you were used to in the traditional Battle Royale mode.<\/p>\n<p>This mode features 3v3 battles on much smaller maps and with much less space for long-range combat, which means that there will be a lot of close-quarter team fights.<\/p>\n<p>Not just that rounds are much quicker and more explosive, but Legends are simply not working as you would expect in normal matches, because even their abilities have limited charges, which means they don&#8217;t have the same value as they have in normal Apex Legends games.<\/p>\n<p>And while the meta is still quite fresh and there will be a lot of experimentations, we think that this tier list we will present you here is currently the most accurate and it takes into consideration all aspects of the mode, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/apex-legends\/apex-legends-arenas-guide-match-format-maps-gearing-system-more\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the map design, match rules, round economy, and more.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>With all that being said, let&#8217;s take a look at our tier list, starting with the rules we use to evaluate each Legend and their place in this list.<\/p>\n<h3>Description of the tiers<\/h3>\n<p>We have opted for a standard five-tier system, S to D.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>S-Tier:<\/strong>&nbsp;A pick that you can&rsquo;t go wrong with despite what your teammates select.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>A-Tier:<\/strong>&nbsp;Solid all-around choice that will benefit your team more than other Legends.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>B-Tier:<\/strong>&nbsp;Serviceable Legends that can have an impact on a match if used correctly.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>C-Tier:&nbsp;<\/strong>Choices that won&rsquo;t have a large impact on whether your team wins a match or not.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>D-Tier:<\/strong>&nbsp;Should only be picked if you need to complete a challenge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep in mind, this list is a mix of subjective opinion and simple observations from the early gameplay in Arenas, and that the game mode is still quite new, which means that we are all still in the process of learning it.<\/p>\n<p>Because a Legend is in C or D-Tier doesn&rsquo;t mean you can make them work and doing so can actually be more rewarding than picking the best.<\/p>\n<h2>Apex Legends Arenas Legends tier list<\/h2>\n<h3>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<p><strong>S-Tier<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/6g5tACxAB4IZfwtNDCN_mUubDGlLafbT6MzMiKThpac\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9BcGV4X0xlZ2VuZHMvQXBleF9MZWdlbmRzX0FyZW5hcy9BcmVuYXNfTGVnZW5kc190aWVyX2xpc3RzL0FyZW5hc19MZWdlbmRzX0dpYnJhbHRhci5qcGc\" alt=\"Apex Legends Arenas tier list\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Picture: EA)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>These are legends that have by far the best kits for Arenas. They will excel in tight areas of smaller maps and their abilities will have a much larger impact on the game than the abilities of other legends.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gibraltar <br \/><\/strong>There will be a lot of team fights in tight areas in Arenas, and that&#8217;s where Gibraltar shines with his Dome and Gun Shield which will easily protect teammates when most needed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Loba<\/strong>&nbsp;<br \/>Care packages and medical supplies scattered around maps will be crucial in a lot of games and will often make difference between winning and losing. With Loba&#8217;s Black Market you will be sure that they always end up in your hands.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rampart<br \/><\/strong>Another Legend that benefits from smaller maps, as her Amped Cover will provide great zoning abilities if used in the right situations and give just enough advantage to outlast your opponents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A-Tier<\/strong><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/qKD8v3yjQm_nRfM0DlP6qObwHtLv_QQDCEE0y7AOYuw\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9BcGV4X0xlZ2VuZHMvQXBleF9MZWdlbmRzX0FyZW5hcy9BcmVuYXNfTGVnZW5kc190aWVyX2xpc3RzL0FwZXhfTGVnZW5kc19WYWxreXJpZS5qcGc\" alt=\"Apex Legends Arenas tier list best legends\" width=\"1024\" height=\"574\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Picture: EA)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><strong style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Valkyrie<\/strong><br \/>Skyward Dive will cover much more space in Arenas as the maps are significantly smaller. You can use it for flanking and sudden attacks when enemies are least expecting that.<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><strong style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Bangalore<\/strong>&nbsp;<br \/>Area denial capabilities of Rolling Thunder will work great on maps with not much space for manoeuvres and Smoke will help you to rush in when enemies are holding a safe spot.<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><strong>Caustic<br \/><\/strong>This legend is great for holding angles and good defensive positions, which we think will be quite useful in Arenas, especially on some of the new maps, although his slow style of play might be an issue here, due to the fast nature of the mode.<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><strong>Lifeline<br \/><\/strong>Defensive abilities will be very important and D.O.C. Heal Drone is great for keeping allies alive in prolonged fights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>B-Tier<\/strong><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/6Jq3RqM9QHjhi5qzc-vkSy7pdL7nEfXRGOuHFTWQW20\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9BcGV4X0xlZ2VuZHMvQXBleF9MZWdlbmRzX0FyZW5hcy9BcmVuYXNfTGVnZW5kc190aWVyX2xpc3RzL3BhdGhmaW5kZXJfYXBleF9sZWdlbmRzLmpwZw\" alt=\"Apex Legends Arenas tier list best top\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Picture: EA)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Pathfinder<br \/><\/strong><span style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Grappling Hook provides him with a lot of mobility which can be good for quick rotations, but due to how Ultimate works in Arenas, his Insider Knowledge will give you less value.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Crypto<br \/><\/strong>Unfortunately, Crypto&#8217;s Drone will be quite useless in Arenas, asides from great scouting potential, as many things Drone interacts with simply don&#8217;t exist in this mode.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Bloodhound<br \/><\/strong><span style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Bloodhound&#8217;s exceptional tracking skills can have great usage in this mode, but other than that we don&#8217;t see much space for him in Arenas.<\/span><strong style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><br \/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Horizon&nbsp;<br \/><\/strong><span style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Despite recent nerfs, we still think that there&#8217;s a lot of space for her to shine even in arenas, but it requires a lot of teamwork and coordination. If there will ever be a pro Arenas scene, she will be much better there.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"list-style-type: none;\">C-Tier<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Mirage<br \/><\/strong>With smaller maps, Mirage&#8217;s decoys can actually be more annoying than in regular games, but ultimately he will still be more of a meme pick than the real meta pick.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Octane<br \/><\/strong><span style=\"list-style-type: none;\">If you are a player who likes to play solo even in team games, Octane might be a good pick for you in Arenas. He can be quick and unpredictable, giving your teammates more space while you are rotating around the map quickly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Fuse<br \/><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Fuse benefits the most from his interactions with grenades, but due to limited resources and the cost of grenades, you will often not have them, and that makes Fuse quite a bad pick in Arenas.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"list-style-type: none;\">D-Tier<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><strong style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Wattson<br \/><\/strong>Interception Pylon is a great ultimate in our opinion, but in Arenas, you will need to pay for each charge of it. And given the scarcity of materials, Wattson will be without her most useful tool most of the time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And there you have it our Apex Legends tier list for Arenas.
