Star Wars: Galactic Racer players should soon be able to bring a bigger crew into multiplayer races: developer Fuse Games plans to increase party sizes from three players to six. The post-launch update is targeted for the first few weeks after launch, though Fuse has not announced a specific release date.

All New Content in Star Wars: Galactic Racer’s Upcoming Multiplayer Update

The announced change is aimed at making it easier for larger groups of friends to race together. Fuse says it heard fans’ concerns about the party limit and is working on the update; further details are expected soon.

Multiplayer Party-Size Increase

  • Current party limit: Three players.

  • Planned party limit: Six players.

  • Timing: Fuse Games is aiming to release the update within the first few weeks after launch. This is a target window, not a confirmed patch date.

The change doubles the number of players who can group up, which should make the game a more practical option for friend groups that currently have more than three people ready to race. It addresses the specific party-size concern raised by fans, rather than confirming a broader set of multiplayer additions.

What to Know Before the Update Arrives

For now, the six-player party limit remains a planned update, not a feature already available in-game. Fuse has not provided a full changelog or named a day for the patch, so players should treat the first-few-weeks window as the developer’s aim rather than a firm schedule.

The announcement follows positive responses to the game from critics and apparent enthusiasm from fans, while acknowledging that the current group limit has drawn concern. Raising the cap to six would let more friends join the same party, but the details of how and when the change will roll out are still to come.

Fuse Games says more information will be shared soon, so groups hoping to race together can watch for a confirmed update date.
