Early on in Subnautica: Below Zero, you’ll find yourself picking up blueprint fragments to build more advanced pieces of machinery. You won’t be limited to just a Scanner anymore as the game begins to open up and you’re able to craft new items. <\/p>\n

However, in order to power almost all of these items, you’ll need batteries. Even on an alien planet, batteries are still an essential part of life but they’re a bit harder to come by than they were in the original Subnautica.<\/p>\n

Players still need to find copper but now also need to find a ribbon plant, which is proving quite difficult in the early game. Luckily, we know exactly where you can find these elusive plants so that you can make all the batteries your heart desires. <\/p>\n

Finding ribbon plants in Subnautica: Below Zero<\/h2>\n

When first starting out in Subnautica: Below Zero, you’ll likely have a base in the starting biome of Twisty Bridges. This is fairly common for most new players, as they don’t have the tools or resources to go very far. <\/p>\n
