If there’s one early-game resource that isn’t readily described in Subnautica: Below Zero<\/a>, it’s the table coral sample. Players are stumped when trying to find this resource, as you can’t simply find it on a wall or in an outcrop. <\/p>\n

However, despite this confusing sequence, the resource is one of the most commonly found in the entire game. You just need to know what to look for and how to actually acquire it. Luckily, we know how to do both. <\/p>\n

Finding Table Coral Samples in Subnautica: Below Zero<\/h2>\n

Table Coral Samples are needed fairly early on in Below Zero, as they’re a key ingredient in making computer chips, which are needed for crafting the advanced wiring kit, mobile vehicle bay, habitat builder and more. As such, players will want to get their hands on as many samples as possible. <\/p>\n

To find table coral samples, players need to look for various coloured coral on the sides of rocks in the Twisty Bridges biome. This is the biome where all players start their journey, so it shouldn’t be hard to navigate to this region.<\/p>\n

When here, just look for the coloured coral on the rocks. It doesn’t matter what colour you find just as long as they all look the same. When you find one, use your survival knife to chop at the coral and a disc of it will fall. Picking up this disc nets you one table coral sample. You can continue to chop down coral samples until your heart is content. <\/p>\n
