The day has finally come, as the new update for Genshin Impact<\/a> titled “Midsummer Island Adventure” will arrive onto the main servers of the game in just a couple of weeks, bringing with it many weapons, a new archipelago region, but most importantly, a brand new character.<\/p>\n

Over the next few days, we will guide you through everything that will arrive in the game, so you can be prepared for this summer celebration while you discover new challenges and get some fantastic and exclusive rewards.<\/p>\n

Genshin Impact v1.6: Kaedehara Kazuha makes his debut<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Kaedehara Kazuha, a five-star Anemo sword character born in Inazuma and who currently lives with the Crux Fleet of Liyue, will make his arrival at the game as we wait for the full release of the Japanese-styled region in Teyvat.<\/p>\n

Bearing many similarities to the main character of the game, Kazuha is a wanderer who spends his time travelling around the world, taking in the sights of mountains and rivers, and listening to the wind which is linked to his abilities and attacks. You can learn more about him in our character preview<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Genshin Impact v1.6: Featured banners and weapons<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Starting on 8th June, a new banner will be available called “Sparkling Steps” in which players will have a higher chance of getting the cute and powerful Pyro character Klee<\/a>, as strong as a supernova in battle, although her range can be a little tricky.<\/p>\n

Right after this, the second banner “Leaved in the Wind” will introduce Kazuha into the game, so either you want to save for this new addition or you are more of a fan of the Pyromaniac explorer, be prepared to spend lots of Primogems.<\/p>\n

Moving onto the Epitome Invocation banner, this will receive a couple of powerful weapons, one focused on Kazuha’s abilities, and the other being the essential weapon for the Electro Bow-user Fischl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Freedom-Sworn is a five-star Sword, part of the “Millennial Movement” that wanders amidst the winds of Mondstadt. Thanks to its passive this sword can increase DMG by 10%, and when the character wielding this weapon triggers Elemental Reactions, they gain a Sigil of Rebellion that increases ATK stats randomly.<\/p>\n

The Mitternachts Waltz is a four-star Bow of dark aspect, also focused to boost offensive stats to the highest thanks to its passive Evernight Duet, which increases Elemental Skill DMG.<\/p>\n

An additional third weapon known for being the essential weapon for Klee will also arrive into the game, the Dodoco Tales. This is a four-star Catalyst based mostly on ATK stats and Charged Attacks, however this will only be available as a reward from this update’s Event Shop.<\/p>\n

Genshin Impact v1.6: Gameplay updates<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To improve the quality of life and accessibility into the game, some changes have been revealed to be added as part of this new update:<\/p>\n

Serial navigation function<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One of the most requested features by players, the new update will allow easier tracking and navigation towards any type of enemy using the Adventurer Handbook, being enabled once you have managed to defeat them during your adventure.<\/p>\n

New keyboard shortcuts for PC<\/strong><\/h3>\n

New shortcuts will be added for the PC version of Genshin Impact, allowing better interaction with some sections of the game such as the Friends List, and the Party Setup.<\/p>\n

Detailed information for Domains<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To make the available Domains a bit more accessible and allow you to plan a better strategy, new information windows will be added to each of these with relevant information such as the types of monsters that you will find, and even some tips before the battle.<\/p>\n

Serenitea Pot Companion Move-In<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Finally, as of version 1.6, it will be possible to send some of your characters acquired in the game to your Serenitea Pot, allowing you to give more life to your personal environment. However, you will only be able to do this once you complete certain objectives.<\/p>\n

You can have special interactions with all of them, and even receive rewards if you get to get a whole specific set of furniture for each one.<\/p>\n
