{"id":17644,"date":"2021-06-07T14:46:20","date_gmt":"2021-06-07T14:46:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/warzone-ural-mountains-map-gameplay-leaks-possibly-blackout-2-0"},"modified":"2024-07-20T16:42:19","modified_gmt":"2024-07-20T16:42:19","slug":"warzone-ural-mountains-map-gameplay-leaks-possibly-blackout-2-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/warzone-ural-mountains-map-gameplay-leaks-possibly-blackout-2-0","title":{"rendered":"Warzone Ural Mountains map gameplay leaks, possibly Blackout 2.0?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A group of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Call of Duty<\/a> leakers has shared an 8-minute video that shows gameplay footage from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war\/warzone-new-map-ural-mountains-release-date-rumours-leaks-more\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Ural Mountains map<\/a>, which was supposed to be the next Warzone map based on several leaks and rumours from December last year.<\/p>\n<p>It was heavily speculated that the Ural Mountains map will be the next &#8220;main&#8221; Warzone map as a part of the first Warzone anniversary and further integration with Black Ops Cold War.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/Y2vuBu7tdwv1vG9Trrd4u00RHs1MjOF3KZ-5W1x-VAw\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XYXJ6b25lL3dhcnpvbmVfdXJhbF9sZWFrLndlYnA\" alt=\"warzone ural leak video\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Picture: Activision)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>That didn&#8217;t happen, and instead, Warzone ended up with the redesigned version of Verdansk, called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/new-warzone-map-verdansk-1980s-new-poi-season-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Verdansk 1984<\/a>, while Ruka (Ural Mountains) remained only a Fireteam map.<\/p>\n<p>Still, it seems that rumours about this map and all the leaks were real, as evidenced by the latest leak.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, 6th June, a group of Call of Duty leakers named <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Cheezburgerboyz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Cheezburgerboyz<\/a>&nbsp;has released an 8-minute-long video consisting of Ural Mountains gameplay.<\/p>\n<div style=\"left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 62.5%; max-width: 650px;\" data-ephox-embed-iri=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/556511642\"><iframe style=\"border: 0; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/556511642?byline=0&amp;badge=0&amp;portrait=0&amp;title=0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>At the very start of the video, a player shows the full mini-map where locations like Battery, Sanatorium, Ruka, Mines and Golova can be seen, then proceeds to run through the area, pick up loot, and show off surroundings.<\/p>\n<p>The HUD that can be seen in the video matches the previously leaked images.
