Blizzard has been pumping out a ton of rewards<\/a> for players that catch the live broadcasts of the Overwatch League, including Legendary skins for monthly tournaments.<\/p>\n

Now, to celebrate the upcoming June Joust<\/a>, the second competitive stop of the Overwatch League 2021 season, the ruthless sniper Widowmaker will receive a legendary skin, which can be obtained for free.<\/p>\n

So now we will show you how to get this exclusive skin, as well as how to link your Blizzard account with YouTube to receive this and more rewards during the competitive season.<\/p>\n

Ange de la Mort Widowmaker skin: Backstory and design<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Since jousting is the central theme for June’s tournament, the frequent 1v1 nature of Widowmaker served as inspiration for the Overwatch developers to create a new skin fitted to her standards, featuring a spider motif wrapping around her chest with a witch-like hood, lending her a mysterious aura.<\/p>\n

Some members of Blizzard’s team commented on its reveal<\/a>, saying they “wanted to design one of the darkest skins in the game, making her feel lifeless, scary, dangerous, cold, and lethal. Like an ‘Ange De La Mort’—angel of death— in the form of a cyborg from the future with a hint of fantastical elements in her costume.”<\/p>\n

Widowmaker’s skin will join the previously released legendary skin for Mei during the May Melee “MM-Mei”, while a Widowmaker 1v1 tournament<\/a> will also be featured during the June Joust to honour the launch of her skin, on 12th June.<\/p>\n

Ange de la Mort Widowmaker skin: How to get<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Getting this new skin for free is pretty simple, but first of all you have to make sure you have linked your YouTube account to your Blizzard one, since Widowmaker’s skin will only be available after watching the June Joust live from the Overwatch League’s Youtube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In case you have not done so yet, you will only have to access this website<\/a>, which will take you to the YouTube account linking site.<\/p>\n

Here, you just have to click on the Connect button, to the left of the Battle.net section, and log in with your Blizzard account. Once you confirm everything, your accounts will be linked and you will be able to receive rewards.<\/p>\n

You will receive five League Tokens for every hour you watch the Overwatch League matches and the June Joust live, and in order to redeem the Ange de la Mort Widowmaker in-game, you will have to collect 200 League Tokens.<\/p>\n

The skin can be found for purchase in the Overwatch League section of the game’s main menu, but hurry, because it will be available only from 9th to 21st June, 2021.<\/p>\n
