This event is also <span>an official league qualifier for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fifa\">FIFA<\/a> eWorld Cup.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>League Series One will be held in Philadelphia and League Series Two will be held in Portland, and League Series Three with the season wrapping up in Austin, Texas at SXSW alongside it&rsquo;s gaming weekend of the conference.<\/p>\n<div data-oembed-url=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kuxR-k7xUuc\">\n<div style=\"left: 0; width: 100%; height: 0; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%;\"><iframe allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kuxR-k7xUuc?rel=0\" style=\"border: 0; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;\" tabindex=\"-1\" srcdoc=\"&lt;style&gt;*{padding:0;margin:0;overflow:hidden}html,body{height:100%}img,span{position:absolute;width:100%;top:0;bottom:0;margin:auto}span{height:1.5em;text-align:center;font:48px\/1.5 sans-serif;color:white;text-shadow:0 0 0.5em black}&lt;\/style&gt;&lt;a href=https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kuxR-k7xUuc?autoplay=1&gt;&lt;img src=https:\/\/img.youtube.com\/vi\/kuxR-k7xUuc\/hqdefault.jpg alt='YouTube video thumbnail'&gt;&lt;span&gt;&#9654;&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/a&gt;\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In addition to participating in the SXSW event, Austin FC will host a pre-tournament event the night before the competition at an undisclosed location before the all-day affair takes place the following day, with qualifiers starting in the morning and single-elimination matches leading up to the championship being played in the evening.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of eMLS Cup will receive 850 Global Series points, qualification for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fifa\/return-ea-sports-fifa-20-global-series\">Global Series Playoffs<\/a>, and the FIFA eWorld Cup, whereas the top 32 competitors will advance to the FIFA eWorld Cup, giving them all a chance to be crowned the FIFA 20 World Champion.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sxsw.com\/news\/2019\/emls-cup-announced-for-sxsw-2020\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Chief programming officer for SXSW<\/a> Hugh Forrest said of the upcoming event, &ldquo;SXSW is honored to be a part of the eMLS Cup in 2020.
