That wait is now over, the team took to Twitter to unveil the signing of former Dignitas player Rory &ldquo;dephh&rdquo; Jackson.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Welcome XSET <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dephhgg?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@dephhgg<\/a> as the newest member of the Valorant team. &#9876;&#65039;<\/p>\n<p>Through his versatility, and ability to lead the team in game, we believe he will bring XSET Valorant to new heights. &#128200;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/RepTheSet?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#RepTheSet<\/a>&#10060; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/FpF5NZRwLF\">pic.twitter.com\/FpF5NZRwLF<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; XSET (@XSET) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/XSET\/status\/1404439193439424514?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 14, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async><\/script>\n<\/p>\n<p>After a disappointing performance in the VCT Stage 2: Challengers Finals, it seems XSET believes that with dephh as their in-game leader, the team can return to VCT Stage 2: Challengers 1 form, where they got 2nd place; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/valorant\/100-thieves-claim-victory-at-valorant-champions-tour-stage-2-challengers-1\">losing only to 100 Thieves<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From an outsider&#8217;s perspective, it looks as though this transition from WeDid to dephh will be easier said than done.
