Ultimate sold 12.08 million units over two months after release too, and is the second best-selling game on the platform, which&nbsp;Pok&eacute;mon could easily top too at this pace.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" paraeid=\"{9e314dae-6cce-48af-ab54-8032295a115d}{93}\" paraid=\"747916271\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Last year&rsquo;s&nbsp;Pok&eacute;mon Let&rsquo;s Go, Pikachu! And Let&rsquo;s Go&nbsp;Eevee! On Switch have sold 11.28 million copies to date, which were based on the original Game Boy&nbsp;Pok&eacute;mon titles and didn&rsquo;t mark a new generation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" paraeid=\"{6295f470-f26b-437c-bc18-2fd904343714}{114}\" paraid=\"1889673236\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">The high sales of Pok&eacute;mon Sword and Shield&nbsp;also indicate the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/pokemon\/pokemon-fans-big-issues-sword-shield-launch\">fuss over the lack of National&nbsp;Dex<\/a>&nbsp;wasn&rsquo;t such a deal breaker after all, although we&rsquo;ll have to see how (and if)&nbsp;developer Game Freak addresses the issue moving forward.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" paraeid=\"{f7d880bf-d1ec-4e86-9484-4e65538f452d}{26}\" paraid=\"2450724\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">If you&rsquo;re craving some competitive&nbsp;Pok&eacute;mon action already, an <a href=\"https:\/\/swordshield.pokemon.com\/en-us\/gameplay\/online-competition\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">official online tournament <\/a>is set to take place next month on 6 December.
