As every two weeks, Mark “Scruffy” Yetter, the Gameplay Design Lead for League of Legends<\/a>, has revealed some of the changes that will arrive to the game in patch 11.13 through his Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This will be the last time he will be in charge of this, as Scruffy will be making his transition<\/a> as one of the development leaders of the League of Legends-based MMO.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, patch 11.13 will be one of the biggest to arrive in LoL, as it will bring lots of adjustments<\/a> to many of the game’s systems, in addition to balance changes and the debut of a couple Legendary items, so let’s take a look at some of these new tentative updates.<\/p>\n

Patch 11.13 early notes: New Legendary items and mages’ update<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Revealed a few days ago through a development post<\/a>, patch 11.13 will bring the debut of the Hullbreaker and the Anathema’s Chains, with the latter replacing the Sanguine Blade for the time being.<\/p>\n

The Hullbreaker is a new Legendary item focused on tanks, as this will give more HP, AD and health regen, along with bonus armor and magic resist when you fight on your own. Additionally, it will also increase the damage you can make to towers, and grants protection to large minions.<\/p>\n

The Anathema’s Chains will serve as a reworked item for the Sanguine Blade, being also focused on tanks as this will increase HP by a mile, while also giving the wielder more ability haste.<\/p>\n

However, its biggest effect will come with its active Vow, which allows players to choose an enemy champion, letting you receive less damage and reduce the tenacity of your opponent. The Hullbreaker will have a cost of 2,800 gold, with the Anathema’s Chains being priced at 2,500 gold.<\/p>\n

The Liandry’s Anguish, Luden’s Tempest, and Everfrost, will cost 3,200 gold now, letting all mages get faster power spikes to increase their overall power, the Moonstone Renewer is getting a buff on its heal and shield power per stack, and the Divine Sunderer is receiving an overhaul with specific ranged and melee damage.<\/p>\n

There are also many others focused on mobility, but these will be covered deeply on another topic.<\/p>\n

Patch 11.13 early notes: Champion changes and Dr. Mundo’s rework delay<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Moving onto bigger things around the champions, the first subjected to nerfs will be Lucian, as he has been one of the most picked and overpowered in proplay around the world in the mid lane. As he is a very flexible champion, Riot has had some trouble to fit him into the bot lane where he has always belonged.<\/p>\n

So to counter this, Riot will start working on making Lucian’s transition back to the bot lane, nerfing some of his base stats and abilities, but giving him buffs when being healed or shielded by an ally, making it more viable to be used around a support.<\/p>\n

As Lucian has also had a low win rate at solo queue, Riot will be testing increased damage against immobilized targets to give him the chance to strike against his opponents, when fighting along a champion like Braum or Malphite<\/p>\n

Lee Sin will be receiving some nerfs in his E’s damage at his last levels, while Xayah and Aphelios are getting a buff on their Q and passive respectively. Olaf’s HP per level will be increased, Riven’s E shield at all levels will be nerfed and Rumble is getting some tweaks on his W.<\/p>\n

Last but not least, Viego will have a big adjustment in his Q and E, making him less viable to pick for the mid lane, and sadly, Dr. Mundo’s rework<\/a> has been delayed again, now scheduled to arrive on patch 11.14.<\/p>\n

Remember all these changes are tentative since these are all part of the PBE at the moment, however you can already get a look at how the meta will start shifting once the patch is available on 23rd June.<\/p>\n
