The pool party skin line is one of the most beloved in League of Legends. The summer-themed skins take some of the game’s favourite characters and has them donning shorts and swimwear, their usually bombastic spells replaced with volleyballs and inflatable pool toys.

So popular is the skin line that it wasn’t really a question of if but when it would be reaching Wild Rift, the mobile version of the title, a fact confirmed last month when it was mentioned in the patch notes dropped alongside the release of v2.3.

And with the northern hemisphere in the midst of a sweltering summer, there is perhaps no better time to get down to the beach and paddle in the water and thankfully that is an option as the Pool Party event has officially kicked off in Wild Rift.

Alongside the release of the skin line which will see six different champions including Orianna and Lee Sin get their beachwear, there is also a small event offering up rewards for players to get through.

Reketon is trying to save lives rather than end them when he’s by the pool.
