The regular season may well be over but any fan of football will tell you that this summer’s European Championship — with the fans back in the stadiums — is better than anything we’ve had in the prior 18, covid-spoiled, months.

The fun has continued on in FIFA 21 too, with the Festival of FUTball promo taking over Ultimate Team, offering up special boosted cards, some of which can be upgraded based on their team’s real-world success.

Though it’s not just FOF cards that have been released in this time, as we have had international-based Flashbacks, Player Moments, and most recently an End of an Era Sergio Ramos card, to honour his career as he departs Real Madrid.

The newest card to hit the game is one that typifies those Player Moment cards — which celebrate a goal, a save, an equally pivotal moment of individual success — more than any other, going this time to Portugal’s Éder Macedo Lopes.

Eder scored the solitary goal of the 2016 European Championship, a goal in extra-time that earned Portugal the win over France and the nation’s first major international trophy.
