In case you didn’t know, there are some extremely expensive cosmetic items for CS:GO<\/a>, and a massive trading market via third-party websites such as CS Money, as one prime example. For example, back in January 2021, we reported that someone purchased a single skin for $150,000<\/a>. This weapon skin had four IEM Katowice 2014 Titan [Holo] stickers applied, which is one of the reasons why it became so expensive. Speaking of the IEM Katowice 2014 Titan [Holo] stickers, a trade reportedly went down recently, where a total of eight of these extremely rare CS:GO stickers sold for a whopping $500,000. No, that’s not a typo.<\/p>\n

IEM Katowice 2014 Titan [Holo] sale<\/h2>\n

According to CS:GO skins savant and sales tracker, ohnePixel<\/a>, someone from Russia, going by the name “Lunar” on Twitter purchased eight IEM Katowice 2014 TItan [Holo] stickers in a batch. These are, of course, unapplied, and they are worth a whole lot of money. <\/p>\n

The total price of these eight CS:GO stickers was $500,000. That means they sold for $62,500 each! <\/p>\n

Back in September 2020, the record sale of one IEM Katowice 2014 Titan [Holo] was $16,500. This is leaving some fans to wonder why these CS:GO stickers are so extremely expensive.<\/p>\n

Why are Titan [Holo] stickers so expensive?<\/h2>\n

Back in 2014, the second-ever CS:GO Major, IEM Katowice 2014, took place. During that time, people could purchase the EMS Katowice 2014 Legends sticker capsule. However, seven years ago, not many fans purchased these capsules.<\/p>\n

Further, with several stickers in each capsule and the [Holo] rarity being the highest for this capsule, very few Titan [Holo] stickers were actually found before IEM Katowice 2014 came to a conclusion, and no one could purchase the capsule via Steam afterwards.<\/p>\n

The Titan [Holo] sticker also looks fantastic on weapons, with a very clean, blue look. Basically, it is all about supply and demand. There are very few Titan [Holo] stickers left that have not been applied to weapons, which has caused this cosmetic item to jump from a price of $6,500 back in September 2019, to a whopping $62,500 in June 2021.<\/p>\n

To put things into perspective, if you happen to have two of the IEM Katowice 2014 Titan [Holo] stickers in your inventory, you could sell them and purchase the new Mustang Mach 1, and have a fair bit of change left…<\/p>\n
