Taking place in Oakland, California over the weekend (24 November), 16 teams battled it out at the prestigious event which is the grand culmination of PUBG<\/a> leagues around the world.  <\/p>\n

After managing to keep close competitors FaZe Clan and Four Angry Men at bay, Gen.G maintained their lead to achieve first place, winning $2 million (£1.5 million) from a $4 million crowd-funded prize pool.  <\/p>\n

The Korean team managed to build a strong lead from the outset, winning two matches out of six in the first day of the competition. At the end of the first day, they finished with 56 points and 31 eliminations, with Four Angry Men closely behind with 51 points and 34 eliminations.  <\/p>\n

In the second day, Gen.G, FaZe Clan, and Four Angry Men all found themselves in reaching distance of the title in the final game, with merely seven points separating them. <\/p>\n

The final game was won by Natus Vincere, but it was Gen.G who managed to keep their lead and achieve the ultimate chicken dinner.  <\/p>\n
