Smash Melee offline is finally back and no better way to celebrate than with the return of Summit, with its 11th edition being back offline after an all-online Smash Summit 10.

Sadly, some travel restrictions are still in place, meaning big players like William “Leffen” Hjelte will miss out after being invited to the event, however, there is still plenty of talent to be excited about.

With that said, let’s take a look at everything you need to know about Smash Summit 11.

The format this time around is completely different from what we’ve seen at previous Summits, including two seeding rounds.

In short, the first group stage is to determine their place in the Gauntlet Stage, this is where final bracket placings for the last part of the event are confirmed.

In classic Summit fashion, the final bracket will be a double elimination one, however, half the competitors will start from loser’s, so having a good showing early in the tournament is crucial.
