better way to celebrate than with the return of Summit, with its 11th edition being back offline after an all-online Smash Summit 10.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, some travel restrictions are still in place, meaning big players like William &#8220;Leffen&#8221; Hjelte <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/super-smash-bros-melee\/leffen-to-miss-summit-11-due-to-visa-issues-teases-melee-retirement\">will miss out<\/a> after being invited to the event, however, there is still plenty of talent to be excited about.<\/p>\n<p>With that said, let&#8217;s take a look at everything you need to know about Smash Summit 11.<\/p>\n<h2>Smash Summit 11 &#8211; Schedule and format<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" 15th July, running until the 18th.<\/p>\n<p>The format this time around is completely different from what we&#8217;ve seen at previous Summits, including two seeding rounds.<\/p>\n<figure Gauntlet Stage, this is where final bracket placings for the last part of the event are confirmed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In classic Summit fashion, the final bracket will be a double elimination one, however, half the competitors will start from loser&#8217;s, so having a good showing early in the tournament is crucial.<\/p>\n<p>Take a look at the full schedule of events down below:<\/p>\n<figure pool made history by becoming the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/super-smash-bros-melee\/smash-summit-11-breaks-historic-prize-pool-record-in-smash-competitive\">biggest in Smash history<\/a>, ending upwards of &#36;140k after the crowdfunding phase was finalized.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more: <a
