The first full preview of the next patch for League of Legends<\/a> has now been released by Jeevun “Jag” Sidhu<\/a>, current lead game designer on Summoner’s Rift Team, and it seems that most of the overpowered champions in the metagame are about to receive well-deserved nerfs.<\/p>\n

Topping the list of reveals we have a couple of champions which are more than related to the Sentinels of Light global event<\/a>, being the Ruined King, Viego, and the Hallowed Seamstress, Gwen.<\/p>\n

Starting with Gwen, she currently has a big presence at the competitive scene of many leagues around the world and high ELOs, being a must-pick or -ban in nearly every single match at the moment, thanks to her unparalleled solo lane potential.<\/p>\n

So to affect her performance, Riot will opt to reduce the bonus Attack Speed of her Skip n’ Slash in early levels, going from 40% to 20%, in order to affect her trading at the beginning of a match. Still, be aware she can become kind of a problem in the mid and late game.<\/p>\n

As for Viego, the Ruined King has become one of the strongest champions in the game, due to his damage and healing passives when playing as a solo laner. In this case, the base damage of his Q will be decreased at all levels, while he will receive less health when attacking minions.<\/p>\n

Besides, he will also deal more damage to monsters, making him a better flex-pick as a jungler.<\/p>\n

A nerf that has brought a lot of attention following the announcement is for Aurelion Sol, as it’s not common to see his name in the patch notes. However, according to Jag, he has become one big problem in Elite MMR, as he currently has the highest win rate of any champion in these ranks.<\/p>\n

In this context, the biggest issue with Aurelion comes with his movement, so with the next patch, the flight distance of his E will be drastically decreased by setting it to a flat 5,000 units at all levels.<\/p>\n

Last but not least, Sylas and Irelia will be nerfed again, as both champions remain as prime picks both in competitive and in ranked queues (even when the latter received massive changes on patch 11.14<\/a>).<\/p>\n

In the case of Sylas, the healing of his W will be decreased by five at every level, including its AP scaling percent, however his Q will deal more damage, and for Irelia, the AD ratio, Physical DR, and Magic DR of her W will be reduced at its last levels.<\/p>\n

Other minor changes include a reduction in Annie’s Q AP Ratio, Kayle’s base Magic Resist, Wukong’s base HP per level, and an increase in Thresh’s E cooldown.<\/p>\n

LoL patch 11.15 preview: All buffs revealed<\/h2>\n

Starting with heavy champions from top and bot lane, Blitzcrank leads the list as the golem will receive a massive damage buff for his Rocket Grab at all levels, while also getting more base Armor.<\/p>\n

Mordekaiser’s Indestructible cooldown will be decreased as well and the damage he can store will be upped from 35% to 45%, making him a dangerous enemy to deal with again, and Rell’s W cooldown will be reduced from 13 to 11 seconds.<\/p>\n

Moving on to the mid lane, Cassiopeia and Kennen are getting an good increase in the damage of their E and Q at all levels, respectively, while Syndra’s Q mana cost will be reduced at early levels, making all three a more viable pick in the competitive and ranked queues, after being affected by the assassins meta and their lack of mobility.<\/p>\n

Let’s rotate to the jungle where we will see Shyvana with changes to the cooldown of her Q at early and an increased AP ratio at all levels, and Nidalee who is getting better base HP and HP per level stats.<\/p>\n

To finish, after struggling recently due to nerfs to their comps and the power of champions like Kai’Sa and Ezreal, Caitlyn and Xayah will be back in the spotlight again as the first is receiving an increase on the AD ratio of her Q, and the latter’s Ultimate cooldown will be much more shorter than ever before.<\/p>\n

As always, remember these changes as tentative so some of them could not make it to the live servers. Patch 11.15 will be released on 21th July, 2021.<\/p>\n
