With the update 2.0 of Genshin Impact<\/a> now available worldwide, new quests and challenges<\/a> have been added around the Inazuma region, where players can learn more about the rich history of the Electro nation while collecting some rewards in the way.<\/p>\n

The update also added six Domains, filled with new enemies and bosses. One of the most mysterious is the Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates, an underwater Abyssal Domain located in Araumi that requires a little effort to gain access to it, as the only way to find it is by completing some puzzles.<\/p>\n

Let’s take a look on how to complete this puzzle to unlock this Domain in Genshin Impact.<\/p>\n

Unlocking the Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates domain<\/strong><\/h2>\n

According to the info from the game, this Domain is a tengu annex dwelling that floats upon the sea like a lonesome boat once played host to the somewhat famous “Yougou Three,” and this would later become the cage in which they, having despaired, spent the rest of their days.<\/p>\n

Before you start, you must have completed the “Cleansing Defilement” World Quest<\/a>, part of a series of Inazuma quests around the “Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual”.<\/p>\n

If you already did the quest, then you will have to head back to the underground zone where the Red Tori is located. Once here, you must go towards the area on the right of the puzzle, until you find five floating Electro totems and a big hole which gives access to a flooded cavern.<\/p>\n

Jump into the hole and start swimming until you find a staircase. Don’t forget to rest a little at some pillar as you can’t swim forever due to stamina limits.<\/p>\n

Go up the stairs and open the metal door using the switch. Then turn back and you will see a line of floating Electro totems. Using any character, you will have to hit these totems until all of their Electro symbols are looking towards the wall, however these will rotate depending on a specific patron, according to which totem you hit.<\/p>\n

By doing this, you will unflood the cavern and also make a Precious Chest appear. Now that you can walk in the cavern, continue through the area you opened until you find a sealed room. Interact with its switch and pass through the enemies, and you will find a Teleport Waypoint nearly at the end.<\/p>\n

Completing the Araumi puzzles <\/h2>\n

In the location you are, you will find two major spots, one is for the Perpetual Mechanical Array boss arena, and the other is for the sealed Domain. Here you will find another switch that activates a puzzle to gain access to the Domain’s room.<\/p>\n

The trick to finish this puzzle is to walk around its center counterclockwise, until all steps are glowing. Once you do this and you click the switch, the steel door will rise to show a bigger puzzle like the previous one. Do the same with it and after you finish, a wall will explode and the Domain will be unlocked.<\/p>\n
