This announcement came shortly after he was banned from the LEC playoffs as well.<\/p>\n<p>To decide on Akshan&#8217;s induction into the LEC playoffs, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RiotMAXtheX\/status\/1420788162910167049\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the teams took a vote<\/a>. The reason behind their refusal to bring the champion into play was cautionary; although the champion has not been particularly well-received, the risk that pro players could find ways to use the Rogue Sentinel and make it a mandatory selection or ban was too much of a risk to take.<\/p>\n<p>Now, although it was previously mentioned Akshan would be available for Worlds 2021, the plans changed due to the champion&#8217;s limited competitive exposure, which has made it difficult for Riot Games to balance.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">JK, Akshan will also be disabled at Worlds.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/LEC?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#LEC<\/a> teams simply 5head. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/XHUEcgJEob\">https:\/\/t.co\/XHUEcgJEob<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Maximilian Peter Schmidt (@RiotMAXtheX) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RiotMAXtheX\/status\/1421768053927387141?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 1, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We should remember Riot also has a rule that disables new champions at a competitive level to avoid these situations, in which a champion could be broken even though they had a poor performance in solo queues.<\/p>\n<p>Since Akshan joined League of Legends in Patch 11.15, it has already <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JeevunSidhu\/status\/1420484626225655814\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">suffered two hotfixes<\/a> due to its low solo queue win rate.
