{"id":20544,"date":"2021-08-11T00:59:19","date_gmt":"2021-08-11T00:59:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/rocket-league-v2-01-patch-notes-dmca-free-options-new-trading-screen-and-more"},"modified":"2024-07-22T19:15:45","modified_gmt":"2024-07-22T19:15:45","slug":"rocket-league-v2-01-patch-notes-dmca-free-options-new-trading-screen-and-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league-v2-01-patch-notes-dmca-free-options-new-trading-screen-and-more","title":{"rendered":"Rocket League V2.01 patch notes: DMCA-free options, new trading screen and more"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Season 4 of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\">Rocket League<\/a> has us feeling everything from joy for a new Rocket Pass to uncertainty regarding new online regulations.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the day, though, new content always conveys excitement to the player base and this upcoming campaign will be no different &#8212; at least in the <em>feelings <\/em>department.<\/p>\n<p>After what was one of the most berated and criticised seasons content-wise for the car soccer video game, Psyonix has come forward to ensure their players that they are listening and that changes take time.<\/p>\n<p>The firsts of which, we&rsquo;ll be able to see during Season 4 of Rocket League so without further ado, here&rsquo;s everything you need to know about the version 2.01 patch notes.<\/p>\n<h2>Rocket League V2.01 patch notes<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Streamer Safe Music<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Streamer Safe music allows you to play Rocket League&rsquo;s included music tracks without worrying about DMCA violations while streaming or recording<\/li>\n<li>&lsquo;Streamer Safe Music&rsquo; can be found under Settings &gt; Audio<\/li>\n<li>Once enabled, Rocket League will remove or replace any tracks that may lead to a DMCA violation<\/li>\n<li>The Streamer Safe setting works in conjunction with your chosen settings for Player Anthems, playing the soundtrack in-game, and playing the soundtrack during matches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/Z-7grtXI_Ty8Ta05VbGDJPddMjmcwyvb18E_GsQhSLU\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9Sb2NrZXRfTGVhZ3VlL3Bhc3RlZF9pbWFnZV8wLTQwNi5wbmc\" alt=\"rocket league, patch notes, season 4, dmca, music, streamer, streaming, twitch, trading screen, bug fixes, casual playlist, punishment, undersized party, rules, restrictions, regulations\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">(Picture: Psyonix)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Matchmaking Penalties in Casual Playlists<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To improve the average match quality in Casual playlists, we are introducing penalties for players who quit Casual games early.<\/li>\n<li>Similar to the matchmaking bans for Competitive Playlists, players who leave Casual Playlist matches early may be subject to a short matchmaking ban. Leaving a single match per day won&rsquo;t result in a penalty, but repeatedly quitting escalates the length of the ban.<\/li>\n<li>There are seven ban levels for Casual Playlists:\n<ul>\n<li>First &#8211; 0 Minutes<\/li>\n<li>Second &#8211; 5 Minutes<\/li>\n<li>Third &#8211; 10 Minutes<\/li>\n<li>Fourth &#8211; 20 Minutes<\/li>\n<li>Fifth &#8211; 40 Minutes<\/li>\n<li>Sixth &#8211; 1 hour<\/li>\n<li>Seventh or more &#8211; 2 hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/Jkfuw8An5meDilIzorNnme4O53z-KDuMLL3Gg5vl3KI\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9Sb2NrZXRfTGVhZ3VlL3Bhc3RlZF9pbWFnZV8wLTQwNS5wbmc\" alt=\"rocket league, patch notes, season 4, dmca, music, streamer, streaming, twitch, trading screen, bug fixes, casual playlist, punishment, undersized party, rules, restrictions, regulations\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">(Picture: Psyonix)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Once you progress beyond the first level, there is a 12-hour cooldown before the ban level de-escalates by one level.<\/li>\n<li>You can now &ldquo;Vote to Concede&rdquo; a Casual Match once enough time has passed, similar to Competitive play if your team wants to leave or simply proceed to the next match.<\/li>\n<li>If a player leaves a Casual match, they will not be backfilled into the same match<\/li>\n<li>Casual matches with a score difference of three goals or more will not be backfilled.
