From new POIs to the 50v50 Clash Mode, a new Gulag, two new weapons in the form of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/how-to-unlock-the-tec-9-smg-in-warzone\">Tec-9 SMG<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/how-to-unlock-the-em2-assault-rifle-in-warzone\">EM2 AR<\/a>, as well as a shiny new battle pass, new perks and much more. There are even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/warzone-and-cold-war-season-5-prestige-levels-rewards-and-season-level-reset\">new prestige levels and rewards<\/a> to unlock. In our tier lists, we make it easy to get an edge over the competition in Verdansk. If you love close-range combat, then we&#8217;ve got you covered. Taking the current meta into account, we&#8217;ve ranked all the shotguns from best to worst in our tier list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong><em>There are no balance changes at the start of Warzone Season 5. These are coming &#8220;in the near future&#8221;. The meta, however, has shifted quite a lot.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Warzone Season 5 shotgun tier list<\/h2>\n<p>Shotguns are all about getting up close and personal with your enemies, knocking them down with a few shots. Later in Warzone Season 5, players will be able to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/how-to-unlock-the-marshal-in-warzone\">unlock a brand-new shotgun called Marshal<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Once the Marshal gets released, we will investigate this new weapon and update this tier list. Even with mediocre attachments, these shotguns are better than half of the others in this category, combined!<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">A-Tier: With the right attachments, these shotguns can still blow your opponents away in Warzone Season 5.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">B-Tier: While the B-Tier shotguns can&#8217;t really compete with the S-Tier, if you pick all the right attachments they can get the job done.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">C-Tier: Not really worth it but still useable if you prefer a specific shotgun for its looks or sound. Can work in certain situations.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">D-Tier: The trash tier. Avoid this weapon at all costs since there are so many other, better shotguns to choose from.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With our explainer on how we rank the shotguns from best to worst for Warzone Season 5 out of the way, we can drive right in.<\/p>\n<h3>Shotgun tier list Warzone S5<\/h3>\n<p>Keep in mind that these tier lists aren&#8217;t an exact science. We endeavour to always have our tier lists as accurate as possible. The developer can, however, choose to either nerf or buff weapons throughout the season as well.
