Diablo 2 Resurrected’s launch day is here, but it seems that not everyone is able to enjoy the game during the first day of the game’s release.<\/p>\n

Diablo 2 Resurrected players on Xbox are reporting problems with the  “Failed to authenticate”<\/a> error, but players on all platforms seem to have much bigger issues.<\/p>\n

Players are reporting that their Diablo 2 Resurrected is constantly crashing, kicking them out of the game, or they are simply not able to connect and start the game.<\/p>\n

These issues are somewhat expected on launch, as there are still probably many trying needed to be fixed.<\/p>\n

But players don’t care about that as they just want to play the game. Hopefully, we may have a solution for your troubles.<\/p>\n

How to fix Diablo 2 Resurrected connections issues<\/h2>\n

Players across all platforms are reporting on the first day that they are having trouble with connecting to Diablo 2 Resurrected and starting the game.<\/p>\n

Some are able to join, but the game quickly crashes and kick them out, while some can not connect to the servers at all.<\/p>\n

If you are having some of these problems, you’ve most likely encountered this message: “An issue while communicating with the game server. Please check that you are connected to the internet and try again.”<\/p>\n

But your internet is working perfectly fine, and you can’t figure out what’s the issue?<\/p>\n

The good news is that the problem is not on your side, but the bad news is that the servers are currently down or performing poorly, and that’s why you can not connect to the game.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the servers are currently overloaded with the influx of players who want to play Diablo 2 Resurrected, and that’s why the servers are unstable.<\/p>\n

What we can advise you, if you are playing from Europe, is to switch the servers from Europe to the Americas, as players have been reporting that the American servers are working perfectly fine currently, while the servers in Europe are having serious issues.<\/p>\n

So, if you are a European and want to play Diablo 2 Resurrected, try switching the servers and play on the American server. You should not have those issues there, that’s the best we can currently offer to you as a solution, at least until Blizzard fixes problems with the EU servers.<\/p>\n

Another thing that might help is to try and restart Battle.net, as a number of players are reporting that they are able to start the game once they have restarted their Battle.net clients.<\/p>\n
