Fortnite’s v11.30 update has officially gone live on Thursday 12 December which adds split-screen functionality, while a number of leaks tease another announcement.

After a photo of support page leaked showing split-screen, Epic Games has confirmed the feature is part of the new update which is live now.

The split-screen feature is only compatible with PlayStation and Xbox consoles and is limited to Duos and Squads, meaning it won’t be supported in Creative, Limited Time Modes, Save The World or Solos (obviously).

There’s a number of small changes in the update too including an increase to the daily item shop gifting limit from three to five, changed ammo indicators, and some preparations ahead of the Star Wars: Rise Of Skywaker live event at Risky Reels on 14 December.
