The last major Street Fighter V<\/a> tournament of 2019 kicks off this weekend, seeing the top 32 players compete for money and glory.<\/p>\n

Taking place at the Novo Theatre in Los Angeles, the Capcom Cup will see some intense matchups between the best within the scene – but who will come out on top?<\/p>\n

Prize Pool<\/b><\/h2>\n

The prize pot consists of $250,000, a.k.a. $250,000 “Bison Bucks” or “Shadaloo stocks” in Street Fighter lingo. That being said, there isn’t a lot of wiggle room for dropped combos, missed executions, or players, “playing with their food” during matches.<\/p>\n

Below is the amount of “Bison Bucks” earned per placement (does not include CP DLC prize pool bonus).<\/p>\n

1st: $120,000<\/p>\n

2nd: $50,000<\/p>\n

3rd: $21,000<\/p>\n

4th: $12,500<\/p>\n

5-6th: $9,000<\/p>\n

7-8th: $5,000<\/p>\n

9-12th: $2,000<\/p>\n

13-16th: $1,000<\/p>\n

17-24th: $500<\/p>\n

25-32nd: $250<\/p>\n
