It’s no secret that Fortnite is a game with by far the biggest amount of crossover events and guest characters.

Since the astronomical rise in popularity of the battle royale back in 2017, we have been witness to a huge amount of tie-ins that have brought characters from other games, movies, comics, and even books.

Asides from fictional characters, Fornite is no stranger to adding real-life people as well, with famous music artists like Ariana Grande, Kaskade, and Travis Scott, or athletes like Pelé and many others.

And now, for the first time ever, a historical figure from the recent past will enter Fortnite, as Dr Martin Luther King’s monumental “I Have a Dream” speech becomes a part of the new “March Through Time” interactive experience.

The March Through Time event will bring players to a re-imagined version of Washington, DC, named D.C. 63 and developed by members of the Fortnite Creative community: ChaseJackman, GQUanoe, XWDFr, and YU7A.

The event teleports players back to 1963 inside D.C. 63, where they will have a chance to witness Dr King’s historical seventeen-minute speech on civil rights and equality.
