Riot Games has officially confirmed via their Valorant Esports Twitter handle that Bren Esports from Southeast Asia will not be able to attend VCT Masters Berlin after the team was unable to get their travel visas. While other teams have been able to arrange the visas on time, the deadline that would allow Bren Esports to attend the tournament is over.

The strict travelling restrictions due to COVID-19 has been stated as the reason for this disappointing news, and Riot will now proceed with 15 teams in Valorant Master Berlin.

“This was a tough decision, and we share in the disappointment of our players and fans.” Alex Francois, Head of Competitive Operations for Valorant Esports, said. “Despite this setback, we are proud of Bren Esports’ achievements in VCT so far and look forward to their participation in future events.”
