Apex Legends players have discovered that the infamous Octane “Double Stim” exploit has snuck its way back into Apex Legends Season 10. Octane’s Stim ability typically boosts the legend’s movement and sprint speed by 30% and 40%, respectively. Once activated, the effects should last for 6 seconds and should go on cooldown. Of course, this is not the case with the recent glitch, which saw players able to abuse the ability for double speed boosts in their matches.

The initial iteration of this exploit was first discovered in Season 6 and saw Octane players get an additional speed boost when they activated the Stim ability and holospray at the same time.

The exploit was fairly easy to trigger and was eventually fixed by Respawn in a subsequent patch update by disabling Octane’s ability to drop holosprays whilst Stim is active.

Apex Legends Octane Stim glitch makes an unwanted return in Season 10
