Do you want to feel old? What if I told you that the legendary action-adventure, Alan Awake, has been originally released more than 11 years ago.<\/p>\n

It was a new IP from the developers of the Max Payne series, Remedy Entertainment, originally released as an Xbox 360 exclusive, and two years later, it became available on PC as well, via Steam.<\/p>\n

And in 2021, after several rumours and leaks, it has been officially confirmed that the story of the best-selling writer, Alan Wake, will be told once again, this time with a makeover!<\/p>\n

Remedy Entertainment, who is now best-known for their latest game, Control, announced Alan Wake Remastered. The good news is that the game is already almost completed, so we will have a chance to play it really soon.<\/p>\n

While we still don’t have too many details, we have some information based on the announcement posted on a community website, The Sudden Stop.<\/p>\n

The announcement was posted there by the lead writer of the original game, Sam Lake, as they wanted to pay respect to the community in that way.<\/p>\n

“Alan Wake Remastered is the original experience you fell in love with all those years ago. We did not want to change that,” Lake states. “But the visuals all around, including the character model of Alan Wake himself and the cinematics, have been updated and improved with some choice next-generation upgrades.”<\/p>\n

The game will support 4K resolutions and will include both expansions of the original game, as well as a commentary from Sam Lake, who is now the creative director of this remaster.<\/p>\n

This info is all we currently know, as there are no official websites or store pages for the game at the time of writing. As soon as more information becomes available, we will update the article.<\/p>\n

As we’ve mentioned earlier, the original Alan Wake game was available only on Xbox 360 and later on Steam.<\/p>\n

With the remastered version, Control and Epic Games are planning on bringing the game to all modern systems.<\/p>\n

The game will be available on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4\/Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X.<\/p>\n
