The release of Warzone Season 5’s mid-season patch brought with it a raft of weapon changes, two caught the eye more than most; first, there was the nerf to the Krig 6 assault rifle and then there was the buff to the DMR 14.<\/p>\n
The semi-automatic tactical rifle was once one of the game’s most popular guns when it was added from the Black Ops Cold War arsenal at the start of the year, and it was a total menace dominating lobbies often hand-in-hand with the MAC-10.<\/p>\n The following months saw a number of nerfs<\/a> hit the gun until it was no longer the one-shot-kill rifle it once was, in fact, it become one of the game’s most maligned weapons with its pick rate plummeting.<\/p>\n That was what Warzone developers, Raven Software, hoped to somewhat reverse with Warzone Season 5 Reloaded<\/a> offering up a series of buffs to the weapon that, in their own words, promised to give the DMR 14 a “real resurgence”.<\/p>\n
