Since its release in July<\/a>,  Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has quickly become one of the most popular mobile games in India, and that’s no surprise as the game is a direct continuation of PUBG Mobile, which has been banned in the country in September 2020.<\/a><\/p>\n

BGMI’s successful launch has been followed by a huge 1.5 update, and now BGMI players in India will soon have a chance to enjoy the next big content drop, the BGMI 1.6 update.<\/p>\n

The BGMI 1.6 update will introduce an abundance of new content, including the new Flora Menace mode where you will need to survive the alien invasion,  which will be available on the Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok maps.<\/p>\n

It will also bring a new Highlights option which will allow players to showcase their skills and best plays to other players, new ways to track your enemies, and much more.<\/p>\n

And while the PUBG Mobile 1.6 update has already been released, BGMI fans are still waiting for the 1.6 update to drop for Battlegrounds Mobile India.<\/p>\n

So, when does the BGMI 1.6 update releases?<\/p>\n

While Krafton hasn’t yet officially revealed the exact date and time when will the update be released, the publisher has confirmed the approximate release window.<\/p>\n

The BGMI 1.6 update will become available for players between 16th-19th September 2021.<\/p>\n

You can expect the update to go live at some point during this period, but the exact date is yet to be announced by Krafton.<\/p>\n

Once the update goes live, it will become available for download via the PlayStore if you are using an Android device, or if you are an iOS user, can download it from the Apple App Store.<\/p>\n
