Throughout the course of the game, you will be offered these Hextech Augments and their powerful effects will give you a new perception of the current game. Eventually, you will start building your strategy around it.<\/p>\n
Some examples of these effects:<\/p>\n

- Range champions have an additional two Hexes of range<\/li>\n
- Champions with items receive an additional 200 HP and 20 attack damage<\/li>\n
- One additional gold and a free shop reroll each time you lose a combat<\/li>\n
- Open an armoury with Ornn artefacts from Fates<\/li>\n
- Ability to see which opponent you are going to fight next combat<\/li>\n
- Level up to Level 10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
These are just a few examples shown by developers in the Dev Drop video but there will be much more of these Hextech Augments revealed as we get closer to the release.<\/p>\n
TFT Gizmos and Gadgets new heroes and items<\/h2>\n
At the time of writing, developers haven’t yet revealed any new items or heroes coming with Set 6, but we will update the article each time a new hero or item are being revealed.<\/p>\n
New co-op Lab mode<\/h2>\n
Gizmos and Gadgets will also come with a new Lab mode. The first Lab, Hyper Roll, was introduced during Reckoning and developers stated that the lab has been a success. In fact, they noted that this was the reason they want to expand the mode with new labs in the first place.<\/p>\n
The general idea with Lab modes is to experiment and offer players new and unique ways to play Teamfight Tactics, asides from the core TFT mode. They are, therefore, pleased with how players have accepted Hyper Roll and are planning on releasing a new lab with the 6th set. At present, they have not settled on an official name but they are calling it “partnered lab” in the interim.<\/p>\n
Duos are coming to Teamfight Tactics! (Picture: Riot Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n The partnered lab will allow players to team up with their friends and play in Duos. Instead of a typical 8-players FFA (free for all) mode, four teams comprising two players each will play against each other.<\/p>\n
The gameplay will essentially be the same. Each player will control their own board but players will share health. The Assist Armory will be one of the key elements in this new mode, in which players can choose “the perfect boost” to help their partners.<\/p>\n
The co-op mode will launch shortly after Gizmos and Gadgets releases, but Riot is planning on pulling it back after a few patches to improve it after getting player feedback. Riot Games will then launch it again “in a more complete form” at a later date. In the long run, there are even plans for co-op tournaments, once devs are fully satisfied with the state of the mode, that is.<\/p>\n
New cosmetics: Chibi Champions<\/h2>\n
As the name suggests, Chibi Champions are the “chibified” version of League of Legends champions. They arrive with Set 6 as new, playable avatars, which can be equipped just like Little Legends.<\/p>\n
Little Legends will still be in the game, but Chibi Champions are now coming as a new option. (Picture: Riot Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n They don’t come from eggs but instead will be available to purchase directly from the store. The first batch will introduce a few of these critters and depending on their reception, Riot will release more in the upcoming months. In addition, more types of cosmetic avatars, called “Tacticians”, will be introduced as well.<\/p>\n
New premium currency: TFT Coins<\/h2>\n
TFT Coins (Picture: Riot Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Finally, the 6th set will see an introduction of a new premium currency that will be unique to TFT, called TFT Coins. TFT Coins will replace League of Legends’ RPs which are currently being used in TFT.<\/p>\n
