Jay “Sinatraa” Won, the former Overwatch and Valorant pro, is no longer the subject of a police investigation<\/a> over accusations of sexual abuse<\/a> from March of this year.<\/p>\n

This has been revealed by his accuser Cleo “Cle0h” Hernandez, Sinatraa’s ex-girlfriend, who explained that she has stopped pursuing the police investigation into her sexual abuse claims as the whole situation was taking a toll on her mental well-being.<\/p>\n

Sinatraa is no longer under investigation and is free to return pro<\/h2>\n

Last week, Sinatraa’s 6-month suspension<\/a> period officially ended, as Riot decided not to extend Won’s punishment.<\/p>\n

Riot’s official ruling on Sinatraa’s case<\/a>, from May of this year, stated that they could continue their internal investigation based on the criminal investigation and potential new evidence, but Cle0h has now revealed that she has dropped the case.<\/p>\n

In a now-deleted tweet, Cle0h states that she has dropped the case because the focus on the investigation was ruining her mental health and was even making her feel suicidal.<\/p>\n

“Didn’t pursue the investigation crap anymore,” Cle0h wrote via Esports Talk<\/a>. “Because focusing on all of it put me in a place where I tried to end my own life, and I didn’t think it was worth the amount of pain it was causing me.”<\/p>\n

With the police investigation now being over and Sinatraa’s suspension completed, Won is now “clean” and free to make a return to professional Valorant if he desires so.<\/p>\n

According to Jake from Esports Talk, there are rumours that several top tier teams are interested in having the former pro in their ranks, either as a player or as a content creator, but he didn’t go into details on which teams those might be.<\/p>\n

Technically, Sinatraa is still a member of  Sentinels, as the organisation has never dropped him even during the suspension period, but the chances are slim that he will be back on their roster, as his substitution, TenZ<\/a>, has proven to be a great addition to the team.<\/p>\n

Sinatraa has expressed his desire to go pro in Valorant again<\/a> during his debut comeback stream, so there’s definitely will on his side for that to happen, and if the rumours are true, that several organisations are making moves to bring him on board, we might find out more details in the upcoming days.<\/p>\n
