Although Viktor dies during his escape from the gulag, it appears that his mind-control tactic on Mason will ensure that he has his vengeance.<\/p>\n<p>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async><\/script>\n<\/p>\n<p>While this storyline was initially met with excitement, players have subsequently criticized Raven Software for their &#8220;embarrassingly low effort&#8221; approach to the limited-time event.<\/p>\n<h2>Players criticize &#8220;lazy&#8221; Warzone Numbers event<\/h2>\n<p>Redditor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/TheDudeofDudez\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">TheDudeofDudes<\/a>, vented his frustration on 21st September and was quickly upvoted by other players that felt the same. &#8220;The other &ldquo;events&rdquo; were trash, but this is seriously so low effort from the devs that it actually angers me,&#8221; TheDudeofDudes said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/eGPh8_5FFC0gKg9lb5tnvjB-ee5WlfuRB7Dz8huzzlE\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XYXJ6b25lLzFhX1M1X1JlbG9hZGVkL251bWJlcnNfL251bWJlcnMuanBn\" alt=\"warzone numbers event players complaint low effort\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Warzone players slam Numbers event, calling it &#8220;lazy&#8221; and &#8220;low effort.&#8221; (Picture: Activision)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Redditor was clear that they expected more to happen, other than just to &#8220;heat some numbers and that&#8217;s it.&#8221;Excuse my french but it&rsquo;s f***ing embarrassing how lazy this is. I am cringing,&#8221; they concluded.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"reddit-embed\" style=\"border: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.redditmedia.com\/r\/CODWarzone\/comments\/psoyil\/this_numbers_eventgame_mode_is_embarrassingly_low\/?ref_source=embed&amp;ref=share&amp;embed=true\" width=\"640\" height=\"273\" scrolling=\"no\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This sentiment was reciprocated by several other Redditors that commented on the thread. Players will also hallucinate the string of numbers on their screens.<\/p>\n<p>It has not yet been established what these codes mean; or whether they have any kind of significance in the game, other than earning players in-game cash and a few rewards (charms, calling cards and a watch).
