Diablo 2 Resurrected has finally launched, to the delight of myriads of fans across the globe. The cult action RPG classic is finally here, with revitalized graphics for both old and new fans of the game to enjoy.<\/p>\n

The launch experience of Diablo 2 Resurrected has, at least for a number of fans, been less than ideal. This is after numerous issues were found to be plaguing the game, ranging from the game melting GPUs<\/a>, to players not being able to launch the game<\/a>, or the game constantly crashing<\/a>… and for some players, the culprit has been the black screen of death.<\/p>\n

So, why is this happening and can it be fixed?<\/p>\n

Players report that they are getting a black screen in various situations whilst trying to play Diablo 2 Resurrected.<\/p>\n

For some players, the black screen appears immediately upon launching the game, at which point the game freezes. Other players report that the Diablo 2 Resurrected black screen appears when they try to join or create a game.<\/p>\n

When this happens, the only way for players to close the game is by alt-tabbing and killing the process in Task Manager.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, there’s currently no permanent solution for this issue, as it is not something related to your PC or the game itself. Instead, the problem seems to originate from the game’s servers<\/a> being unstable, which causes the game to bug out and freeze.<\/p>\n
