Cooking ingredients are an essential component of New World where various ingredients can contribute to a variety of player statistics such as replenishing health or improving luck. Fruits and vegetables<\/a>, such as melon, can increase constitution and dexterity statistics while your health slowly recovers over time.<\/p>\n

The melon, which can be harvested raw, however, is best consumed when cooked as the ingredient is more potent. This guide will assist players in locating melons that can be found inside Provisions crates in Aeternum.<\/p>\n

Where to find melon in New World?<\/h2>\n

Dayspring Mills<\/h3>\n

Located above the main First Light Settlement is the Dayspring Mills farm where you will explore a nearby building to the right of this location. Head inside the building to locate a Provisions crate near the bottom of an oven which can be looted for many items, one of them being melon.<\/p>\n

Saircor Bridge<\/h3>\n

Head east from the Dayspring Mills farm to the Saircor Bridge, which connects two main First Light areas. Players are to place themselves in the centre of the bridge and check the bridge’s right side for a Provisions crate near the bridge’s edge.<\/p>\n

Light’s Crown<\/h3>\n

The next Provisions crate can be located to the bottom left of the First Light region to an area called Light’s Crown. Here, players are to locate a crossroad which is to the left of an Ancient ruin, Pyrgos Nao. Above this crossroad is a building where entering this building, you can find a Provisions crate to the left of the entrance.<\/p>\n

Staying in Light’s Crown, move southwest of Pyrgos Nao to find the Elafry Pyrgo Tower. Find the obelisk which is located at the bottom right of the Elafry Pyrgo Tower to spot a door frame where another Provisions crate can be found.<\/p>\n

Heading north from Elafry Pyrgo to the top left of Light’s Crown. Locate the area’s main building where upon entering, can find a staircase which you can make a quick right turn onto the building’s balcony where a Provisions crate can be spotted.<\/p>\n

From here, the next location isn’t far from the previous location as you are expected to turn around and make a left turn down a staircase where the next Provisions crate can be found at the entrance to the left of an open room, beneath the staircase.<\/p>\n

Hilltop Encampment<\/h3>\n

Make the journey towards Northfolk when exiting Light’s Crown. Look out for a crossroad where just beyond it, players will locate the Hilltop Encampment and it is here where you can find the third small building within this area. Just outside on the right is a Provisions crate resting on a wooden platform.<\/p>\n

Letum’s Pick<\/h3>\n

Stay on the road from the previous location and continue north to reach Letum’s Pick mine, above Northfolk. Explore the area to the right, between two crossroads for a building attached to the furthest right side for a Provisions crate on the porch.<\/p>\n

Nyhart’s Anchorage<\/h3>\n

Nyhart’s Anchorage bay is in the north area of the first Light region. Here, navigate your way in this area to find a secondary road above this location. Towards the end of this road is a series of buildings in which players are to locate a watchtower amongst them. Take the staircase leading to the top floor where another Provisions crate can be found in one of the floor’s corners.<\/p>\n

Staying in this area, head west of the previous location towards the bay’s top left border where players are to locate a tavern. Inside of this tavern, behind the bar, is another provisions crate.<\/p>\n

To the east of Nyhart’s Anchorage is a port located to the southeast near the area’s borders. At this port, take the staircase going up and make your way around the floor, turning right at a corner where another Provisions crate can be spotted.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the next Provisions crate isn’t far from the port in the previous location however, starting at the base of the staircase, turn around to face a cave entrance. Go inside the cave where a provisions crate can be found beside the right side of the cave.<\/p>\n

From the main waypoint at Nyhart’s Anchorage, go southwest where a small dock can be located. Along the dock’s embankment are wooden supply crates where players can find the Provisions crate hidden amongst the supply crates.<\/p>\n

Staying in this area, players can find some nearby buildings but for the next Provisions crate, look for a watchtower where a staircase can be taken to the top floor. In one of the corners is a Provisions crate for looting.<\/p>\n

Hoff Point<\/h3>\n

Make the journey towards Hoff Point when exiting Nyhart’s Anchorage. Players will encounter a crossroad beneath Hoff Point, however, take the right path as players are to seek out a watchtower, the second building alongside this path. This watchtower can be identified by a single red flag hanging outside where using the staircase beside it, will lead players to the top floor where a Provisions crate can be found.<\/p>\n

Coffman’s Redoubt<\/h3>\n

Continuing down the same path from the previous location, right at the end of this path is the next location, Coffman’s Redoubt. Around the bottom right of this area, navigate your way to the right side of a platform to find the final of the Provisions crate.<\/p>\n
