Lazio’s Pedro made headlines this weekend after he put in a virtuoso performance, which included a crucial goal, against arch-rivals Roma. A performance all the more satisfactory for the former Barcelona and Chelsea winger and he did the unthinkable and moved from Roma to Lazio after just a season of football.

Now 34, Roma’s snub looks to have given Pedro new life and we may yet see him truly shine in Serie A. Whether he ultimately does that or not will matter little when it comes to judging the Spaniard across his career, a career in which he has won absolutely everything a player possibly can including three Champions Leagues, 5 La Liga titles, the Premier League, and both the World Cup and European Championship with Spain.

It’s a career that has now earned him a Flashback card in the recently released FIFA 22, celebrating his very first season in the Premier League with Chelsea when he scored 7 goals and notched 4 assists in just 29 games.
