Warzone Season 6, the final season of the Cold War era, has arrived, for the one final rodeo in Verdansk before we head over to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/first-look-at-the-new-call-of-duty-warzone-pacific-map\">Pacific<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For almost two years Verdansk was the centre of Warzone, with tens of millions of players trying to outsmart and outgun each other in a constant battle for survival.<\/p>\n<p>With less than a month before the Verdansk is gone forever, now is the perfect time to once again establish your dominance and show who is the real boss of Verdansk.<\/p>\n<p>You don&#8217;t want to spend your last few weeks in Verdansk by constantly losing, right? Of course not, and to prevent that you will need to use the absolute best guns Warzone has to offer in Season 6.<\/p>\n<p>And a lot of things has changed in Season 6, particularly to Verdansk itself. The map is torn apart with fissures, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/warzone-season-6-world-war-2-bunker-locations\">WW2 bunkers<\/a> have appeared all around the map, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/all-new-pois-in-warzone-season-6\">many old POIs have been demolished<\/a>&#8230; This requires a different approach and new strategies, and based on our initial testing, we have assembled a list of the best guns in Warzone Season 6 for each class.<\/p>\n<h2>The best weapon in every class for Warzone Season 6<\/h2>\n<h3>Best assault rifle: Grav<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/8af2bbsEJCFrDFhKu9RVKuB4_A0iDHzkff8Kk7ggmRI\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XYXJ6b25lL1NlYXNvbl82L0dyYXZfaW5fV2Fyem9uZV9TZWFzb25fNl9ob3dfdG9fdW5sb2NrLmpwZw\" alt=\"The best weapon in every class for Warzone Season 6 Reloaded\" width=\"1024\" height=\"384\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The Grav is currently one of the best long-range assault rifles. (Picture: Activision)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This might be a controversial pick, but the newest assault rifle is probably what you will want to use in Warzone Season 6.<\/p>\n<p>With so many buildings being destroyed and levelled to the ground, there are many more open spaces than usual, which favours guns capable of delivering massive damage from a distance.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/warzone-ar-tier-list-every-assault-rifle-ranked-from-best-to-worst-for-season-6\">Warzone AR tier list &#8211; Every assault rifle ranked from best to worst for Season 6<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Grav has a base range of over 50 meters and it comes with by far the fastest bullet velocity in the class, and that&#8217;s just in its base version. But what we particularly like about it is the RK-7 30-Rnd Conversion, which will equip the weapon with 7.62 ammunition, which will significantly increase your damage output.<\/p>\n<p>This makes the Grav a real beast in long-range encounters and a perfect assault rifle for Warzone Season 6.<\/p>\n<h3>Best SMG: The MAC-10&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/cTI8j2P-Pa7w2fKJbemEFCbep-1RHwQoUcXcOCwtI3A\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XYXJ6b25lL01hYy0xMF93YXJ6b25lLmpwZw\" alt=\"The best weapon in every class for Warzone Season 5 Reloaded\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The Mac-10 is reliable both in close-quarter and in mid-range combat. (Picture: Activision)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Asides from many new open areas, Season 6 brings numerous WW2 bunkers, and there, you want a weapon that&#8217;s fast, easy to control, and flexible. You want the MAC-10.<\/p>\n<p>The MAC-10 has a superb hip-fire accuracy, which makes the weapon perfect in tight areas where you don&#8217;t have time nor space for more complicated manoeuvres.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/warzone-smg-tier-list-every-sub-machine-gun-ranked-from-best-to-worst-for-season-6\">Warzone SMG tier list &#8211; Every sub-machine gun ranked from best to worst for Season 6<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Its reasonably low recoil goes perfect with its very high rate of fire, which will allow you to kill several targets in intense situations, provided your reflexes are on par.<\/p>\n<h3>Best light-machine gun:&nbsp;Stoner 63<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/j6RgcylmREAOfgWQJcGfKPx1nW9PBchMEZlxx40qvQg\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XYXJ6b25lL3N0b25lci5wbmc\" alt=\"Best weapons in Warzone Season 6: The strongest and most broken guns\" width=\"1024\" height=\"490\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The Stoner 63 is back on the list, finally dethroning the PKM after several seasons. (Picture: Activision)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After several seasons of the PKM&#8217;s dominance, the good old Stoner 63 is back on our lists of best guns in Warzone Season 6.<\/p>\n<p>The PKM has received <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/warzone-season-6-balance-changes-all-weapon-buffs-and-nerfs\">a few nerfs in this season&#8217;s patch<\/a>, and it&#8217;s now much harder to control it properly, which we don&#8217;t like.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/warzone-lmg-tier-list-every-light-machine-gun-ranked-from-best-to-worst-for-season-6\">Warzone LMG tier list &#8211; every light machine gun ranked from best to worst for Season 6<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On the other hand, there are several things we like about the Stoner 63. It comes with a solid rate of fire, large ammo capacity and a completely reasonable recoil for a light-machine gun. (Picture: Activision)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Even during the final days of Verdansk, the Kar98k is still our marksman rifle of choice.<\/p>\n<p>With the new map conditions, the Kar98k will serve you even better than before, as its mobility is something no other long-range weapon can match. It also has an absurd ADS time and firing rate, which will allow you to be constantly on the move, put your targets down as you spot them, and then quickly relocate. Rinse and repeat.<\/p>\n<h3>Best shotgun: .<strong>410 Ironhide<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/Vg1dro8r3vRnDmAjTf-zXpA0uHljlkff-wNDDPqiPx4\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XYXJ6b25lL1NlYXNvbl82L3RoZV80MTBfSXJvbmhpZGVfU2hvdGd1bl9iYXNlLmpwZw\" alt=\"Best weapons in Warzone Season 6: The strongest and most broken guns\" width=\"1024\" height=\"384\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The new shotgun is no joke. (Picture: Activision)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the shotgun category, we have another bold change. The new shotgun is a very tricky weapon to operate optimally. It has an insane one-shot kill range, the longest out of all shotguns in the game, but that is offset by its really slow rate of fire and reload speed.<\/p>\n<p>In our initial testing, we have found it to be a deadly and efficient weapon, but you need to choose your fights carefully and know when is the right time to engage. If you want to go with a safer option, then you can pick our previous seasons&#8217; top shotgun, the Gallo SA12.<\/p>\n<h3>Best tactical rifle: DMR 14<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/-JRoHNSOz_utYiReIl2comb2XJLK_G5eHXtcIrGcwCc\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XYXJ6b25lLzFhX1M1X1JlbG9hZGVkL0RNUjE0L2Rtcl8xNF93YXJ6b25lX3NlYXNvbl80X2Jlc3RfbG9hZG91dF9hdHRhY2htZW50cy5qcGc\" alt=\"Best weapons in Warzone Season 6: The strongest and most broken guns\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The DMR 14 is finally balanced! It only took them a year! (Picture: Activision)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The DMR 14 has proven to be a staple (and balanced!) pick after a few tweaks it got in previous seasons, and especially after nerfs to the Aug, Carv and M16.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not as insanely powerful as it was in the early days of the Cold War meta, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/best-dmr-14-loadout-for-warzone-season-5-reloaded\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the DMR 14<\/a> has seen a few minor buffs over the last few seasons after the developers had nuked the weapon to oblivion with nerfs earlier this year and are now gradually trying to make it viable again. And they are doing a great job with these changes.<\/p>\n<h3>Best pistol:&nbsp;.50 GS Desert Eagle<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/4CJStBGu8Ecv9GHDpxXyFKY2JToTzUAlRsZ3mcp5Oi8\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XYXJ6b25lL1dhcnpvbmVTNC9XYXJ6b25lX1NlYXNvbl80X0JhdHRsZV9QYXNzL0Jlc3RfV2VhcG9ucy93YXJ6b25lX0Rlc2VydF9FYWdsZS5qcGc\" alt=\"Best weapons in Warzone Season 6: The strongest and most broken guns\" width=\"788\" height=\"509\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Yup, it&#8217;s Deagle again. Its unparalleled one-shot kill potential and the satisfaction it provides when you land a headshot are good enough reasons&nbsp;to keep picking this classic gun.<\/p>\n<p>And with that, we are wrapping up our list of the best weapons for Warzone Season 6.<\/p>\n<p>As always, keep in mind that the meta constantly shifts, and it is especially volatile in these early days of a new season, as players are still adapting to the changes and experimenting with new loadouts.
