Beyond this, there is a slew of new content, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/all-new-pois-in-warzone-season-6\">revamped POIs<\/a>, a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/warzone-season-6-battle-pass-all-tiers-rewards-cost-more\">brand-new battle pass<\/a>, and new Operators.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">There are also five new weapons, including the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/how-to-unlock-410-ironhide-shotgun-in-warzone-season-6\">410 Ironhide shotgun,<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/how-to-unlock-grav-in-warzone-season-6\">Grav assault rifle<\/a>&nbsp;and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/how-to-unlock-battle-axe-melee-in-cod-warzone-season-6\">Battle Axe melee<\/a> weapon, which were released at launch, as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/how-to-unlock-lapa-smg-in-cod-warzone-season-6\">LAPA submachine gun<\/a> and Hammer &amp; Sickle, which will be released later this season. Finally, there is, of course, the usual&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/warzone-season-6-balance-changes-all-weapon-buffs-and-nerfs\">weapon balance and attachment changes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Raven Software contends that the meta is in a good place and did not make any balance changes to weapons in the Sniper or Marksman weapon class, but may fine-tune certain weapons as the season progresses. With that said, here&#8217;s our tier list of the best Sniper and Marksman Rifles to use at the start of Warzone Season 6, ranked from best to worst based on the current meta.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">Warzone Season 6 Sniper Rifle &amp; Marksman tier list<\/h2>\n<p>Sniper or marksman rifles are long-range weapons that can and will destroy opponents, should you pick the best ones. These sniper or marksman rifles don&#8217;t even need all the best attachments to make their bullets sing.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>A-Tier<\/strong>: While perhaps not considered&nbsp;<em>the best,<\/em> these weapons absolutely shred enemies to pieces and are incredibly strong and viable choices to use.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>B-Tier:<\/strong> These weapons require the perfect loadout to compete with players wielding S- or A-tier weapons.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>C-Tier<\/strong>: Useful in certain situations with the perfect loadout, these sniper rifles aren&#8217;t all that great.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>D-Tier:<\/strong> The trash tier. Don&#8217;t pick up these weapons, even if there <em>aren&#8217;t<\/em>&nbsp;other options.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Sniper &amp; Marksman Rifle tier list<\/h3>\n<p>There are 16 sniper rifles in Warzone Season 6. While we endeavour to always have our tier lists as accurate as possible, keep in mind that these tier lists aren&#8217;t an exact science.<\/p>\n<p>The developer can, however, choose to either nerf or buff weapons throughout the season as well. (Picture: Activision)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/best-kar98k-loadout-for-warzone-season-5-reloaded\">Kar98k<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/best-swiss-k31-loadout-for-warzone-season-5\">K31 Swiss<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/best-hdr-loadout-for-warzone-season-5\">HDR<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Kar98k is still the best sniper rifle to use in Warzone Season 6, provided you have the skill to wield it. In the previous patch, it received improvements to its firing recoil behaviour and continues to melt enemies with its one-shot killing power.<\/p>\n<p>The K31 Swiss and HDR are other elite options, given their reliability and high damage output and excellent bullet velocity.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">A-Tier<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/GQ_nlMJtC6iMmjXz8ShcKlCKUNXGOBFNoOFgJJ-GyB8\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XYXJ6b25lL1NlYXNvbl82L3NuaXBlcl90aWVyL1hGcHVjNVAuanBn\" alt=\"The AX-50 is an excellent A-tier weapon in Warzone Season 6. (Picture: Activision)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>AX-50<\/li>\n<li>ZRG 20mm<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/best-sp-r-208-loadout-for-warzone-season-4\">SP-R 208<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although the AX-50 has comparable damage to the HDR, it&#8217;s held back its significantly slower bullet velocity, which ultimately doesn&#8217;t quite make it S-tier material. It is, nonetheless, an excellent weapon to use, thanks to its one-shot lethality.<\/p>\n<p>The ZRG 20mm is another fantastic sniper rifle with the fastest bullet velocity in its class.
